Level in Jamaica
• Collegiate Sports is governed by Jamaica
Intercollegiate Association which was
established in 1961.
• The Association consists of over 21 member
institutions from across the island.
• The Jamaica Intercollegiate Association is
the national governing body for collegiate
level sports in Jamaica and is affiliated with
the International University Sports
Federation (FISU).
• Inter-Collegiate Sports Championships are
held over a period of two semesters.
