Control – Unit Objectives
• The objectives of this unit is to outline the
principles of quality assurance, quality control and
quality assessment and to stress the importance of
effective quality assurance.
• At the completion of this unit, the student should
understand the basic concepts of quality
assurance, and how to apply them in the
workplace.

implementation of quality assurance programmes
to ensure that protection and safety requirements
are met.
