          information gathered in a study
     Data and Data Analysis
      We have two types of research study
  In quantitative research, data are usually          •
    quantitative (numbers) and  subjected to
  statistical  analysis. Mainly the data is    
   collected by close ended questions     
  Qualitative  research,  data are usually   •
  narrative and collected by open ended     
  questions
