DRESS FOR SUCCESS 
                    A new project for Disciples Women  
               to reduce hunger by increasing self-sufficiency 
                                
                     
                    Dress for Success is a not-for-profit organization that 
                    helps women become employed and stay employed.   
                    Each woman receives a suit when she has a job       
                    interview and a week's worth of separates when she 
                    gets the job.  The program provides ongoing support to 
                    help her build a successful career. 
                      
                    The mission of Dress for Success is to advance low    
                    income women's economic and social development 
        and employment retention.   There are affiliates in 75 cities, in 38 states; 
        nine of these affiliates are outside the United States, with three in Canada. 
         
         
                                
                      HOW WE CAN HELP 
                                
        D support your nearest Dress for Success by donating your like new suits 
          and other very gently used clothing appropriate for professional wear, 
        D organize a suit drive or help your group purchase a suit and necessary 
          accessories, 
        D participate in the annual "Send One Suit" drive held in March.
