              WATER TREATMENT PLANT KIKINDA 150 l/s – Design and 
              Build, SERBIA 
              KfW-Procurement number: 501313 
              Planned activities:  
                  Designing  and  building  of  Water  Treatment  Plant  Kikinda  at 
                  Šumice well field, including a clear water reservoir and a treated 
                  water pumping station. Capacity 150 l/s. 
                  The water treatment plant consists of 2 parts: 
                  o  Part 1, conventional treatment processes  
                  o  Part 2, treatment process for enhanced Boron and Sodium 
                  removal 
                  Time for completion of all works is 828 days. 
                  The  bidder  or  one  of  his  subcontractors  must  be  officially 
                  registered for designing and construction as a company and have 
                  employed  licensed  staff  as  required  by  the  Serbian  law  of 
                  planning and construction.  
                  Pre-bid meeting and Site visit shall be mandatory. Date, time and 
                  location: 28.10.2019 at 10:00, at PC JP “Kikinda”, Kikinda. 
              Minimum qualification requirements:

              Short description of project:  
                  In the framework of Open Programme of the German financial 
                  cooperation  with  the  Republic  of  Serbia,  Kreditanstalt  für 
                  Wiederaufbau  (KfW)  is  financing  investments  in  the 
                  rehabilitation  of  urban  water  supply  and  sewerage  systems  in 
                  four selected medium-sized Municipalities in Serbia (“Water and 
                  Sewerage Programme in Medium-Sized Municipalities V”, BMZ 
                  2012 65 941“), that aim at ensuring sustainable water supply and 
                  in  special  cases  the  improvement  of  sewage  disposal  for  the 
                  population at socially acceptable costs. 
              Project activities:  
                  The project includes the extension and rehabilitation of water 
                  supply systems in Kikinda, Knjaževac, Paraćin and Vrbas, and 
                  technical and institutional assistance. 
              Sources of financing:  
                  The  Government  of  Serbia  has  received  funds  from  the 
                  Government  of  the  Federal  Republic  of  Germany  through 
                  Kreditanstalt  für  Wiederaufbau  (KfW)  for  financing  the 
                  Programme “Water and Sewerage Programme in Medium-Sized 
                  Municipalities in Serbia – Programme V, Phase 2”. A part of the 
                  funds are earmarked for the water treatment plant in Kikinda.  
                  In addition to the funds earmarked in Programme V, the Project 
                  will be financed by the Ministry of Construction, Transport and 
                  Infrastructure of Republic of Serbia. 
                  The Employer’s total budget for both parts is 9.5 million Euro 
                  and the Employer reserves the right to not accept bids higher 
                  than this amount.
