The five critical components of daily nutrition fit
together like the pieces of a puzzle and work
together as balanced nutrition. You need to
consider them all, including water, fiber,
phytonutrients from colorful fruits and
vegetables, micronutrient vitamins and
minerals, and the macronutrients – protein,
carbohydrates, and fats.
Herbalife’s Nutrition Philosophy emphasizes
30% protein from food and meal replacement
shakes, along with up to 30% fats with more
omega-3 and less saturated fat than in most
people’s diets, and 40% carbohydrates from
fruits and vegetables, including 25 grams of
fiber per day from food and supplements and
only a limited amount of refined carbohydrates,
such as cakes, cookies, pastries, and breads.
Getting the right amounts of water, protein,
healthy fats and carbohydrates has positive
benefits for your skin, your joints, your brain,
your digestion, and, most importantly,
maintaining your weight in the ideal range.
Omega-3 fats support your heart, brain, and
joints. Fiber and water are key to normal
digestion and feeling your best. Of course, we
all know that vitamins and minerals are
important for normal cell function and to help

from lean muscle and organs. Starvation is not
the answer, but eating the right amounts of
