            MedNexus Nursing Scholarship Awards & Criteria for Fall 2022 – Spring 2023 
        Initial Criteria: 
        •   Enrolled in eligible program:
             o Eligible rising junior and senior level students enrolled in Regular Prelicensure (RPL) BSN or Accelerated 
                 Prelicensure (APL) BSN at Jacksonville program or
             o Enrolled in Regular Prelicensure (RPL) or Accelerated Prelicensure (APL) at Palm Coast program or
             o Enrolled in eligible DNP or MSN program or
             o Enrolled in BSN-FAN cohort (Freshman admits to Nursing program)
        •   Minimum institutional GPA of 3.0 with priority given to a 3.5 GPA and higher
        •   Enroll in at least 9 credit hours for UG or 6 credit hours for GR each term (fall/spring)
        •   Must meet Florida Residency for tuition purposes
        •   Post-bach and online program students not excluded from consideration
        Renewal: Some awards may be renewed one time for a total of two years of funding if the following criteria is met: 
        •  Completion of credit hours for which student was funded
        •  Minimum 3.0 institutional GPA and in good academic standing as determined by the Office of Student 
           Financial Aid
        •  Participation in at least 4 professional events hosted jointly UNF MedNexus and BCH
        Types of Awards: 
        •   MedNexus Undergraduate Nursing Scholarship
             o $5000 2-year award/$2500 per year
        •   MedNexus Nursing Graduate Scholarship
             o $4000 2-year award/$2000 per year
        •   MedNexus Nursing Scholarship Palm Coast (State funding)
             o   $5000 2-year award/$2500 per year
        •   MedNexus Nursing Palm Coast Scholarship (City of Palm Coast funding)
             o $5000 2-year award/$2500 per year
        •   Note: Nursing students taking courses in Palm Coast and designated as Palm Coast Scholars are eligible to
            receive funding from both “MedNexus Nursing Scholarship Palm Coast” and “MedNexus Nursing Palm Coast
            Scholarship.”
        •   MedNexus Supplemental Scholarship
             o Up to a $2500 1-year award/Up to a $2500 one-time, non-renewable award
                 For FY 22-23, MedNexus Supplemental will be used to provide one-time awards to Nursing students in
                  their final year (BSN-RPL/APL, MSN, DNP) who did not have the opportunity to apply for the
                  reoccurring scholarship as a Junior or in their first year admitted to the Nursing program.
                 Students must meet the initial criteria to be eligible for a MedNexus Supplemental award. In addition,
                  students must be on track to graduate by the end of the Summer 2023 term and cannot have another
                  existing recurring award from UNF MedNexus.
                 MedNexus Supplemental award amount cannot exceed the amount of a MedNexus recurring award for
                  the program in which the student is enrolled.
        •   All above awards are contingent on available funding
