TSPSC Group-1 exam pattern 2020 will soon be released for the aspirants who have applied for the
Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) examination for the year 2020, which is to be held

TSPSC Group-1 Prelims Syllabus 2020
TSPSC Group-1 Prelims is conducted on General Studies and Mental Abilities. TSPSC has included the
following in the General Studies and Mental Ability Syllabus for Prelims.

● Disaster management- Strategies related to prevention and mitigation

TSPSC Group-1 prelims qualifying candidates have to appear for the TSPSC Group-1 Mains exam.

TSPSC Group-1 Mains Syllabus
The TSPSC Group-1 Mains syllabus for all the posts is the same. TSPSC Group-1 Mains exam has six
papers and the subjects are General Essay, Indian society, Constitution and governance, General English,
History, Geography and Culture, Economy and Development, Telangana movements for State formation,
Science and Technology and Interpretation of Data.
General English (Qualifying Test)
1. Fill in the blanks-Verb tenses, Conjunctions, Prepositions

3. Spotting errors- Punctuation and Spelling
4. Comprehension

6. Rewriting sentences- Usage of Vocabulary, Active and Passive Voice, Direct and Indirect Speech

Paper 1: General Essay
Candidates have to write three essays and one from each section is compulsory. Each section has three
questions and each essay carries 50 marks)
