Status of Evidence Collection/Writing Week of: Tasks / Targets Jan. 16 Complete draft: Standard I.A & IV.C Jan. 23 Complete draft: Standards II.C & IV.A Jan. 30 Complete draft: Standards II.B & III.C All outstanding evidence on all standards due Review groups begin to review draft sections for coverage of key topics (Feb. 1-15) Feb. 6 Complete draft: Standards III.A, III.B, IV.B Committee / Standards Chairs review and provide input on Drafted sections Feb. 13 Complete draft: Standard IIID & Quality Focused Essay Feb. 20 Complete draft: Standards I.A, I.B & Front Matter Feb. 27 Complete draft: Standard I.C Committee / Standards Chairs review and provide input on Drafted sections Mar. 6 Deadline for all input from Committee / Standards Chairs and review teams to Writer and ALO Deadline for all input on Quality Focused Essay Mar. 13 March 15: Distribution of Second Draft of Self Evaluation Mar. 20 March 22: Preparation for Study Session with Board – all input on second draft incorporated Mar. 27 Apr. 3 April 5: Study Session with Board of Trustees Apr. 10 SPRING BREAK Apr. 17 Self-Study Second Draft to all constituent groups for final review / input— Academic Senate Apr. 24 May 1 May 8 Self-Study on all committee agenda—Academic Senate May 15 May 22 May 24: First Final draft due to President’s Office for inclusion in board packet May 29 June 5 June 7: Board of Trustees first review of Self-Study Jun. 12 June 14: Final version of Self-Study due to the President’s Office for inclusion in board packet Jun. 26 June 28: Board of Trustees approves final version of Self-Study Saki Cabrera reported that she had a meeting with IT to talk about the linking of evidence into the report. Flash drives are needed. Saki Cabrera will determine the size and send a request to Laurie Gorman to order two or three now, and then later on additional ones will be ordered (with the SCC logos) to send to the Accreditation visiting team. It was suggested that lanyards also be ordered with the College name and logo. Shirley Lewis shared information on the Quality Focus Essay; Virginia Guleff completed part of the introduction. Discussion of Process Moving Forward David Williams will send out a monthly Accreditation newsletter beginning in February. The updated mission statement poster is being developed. Laurie Gorman will check with Sandra Therrien about this. Consider an Accreditation activity on the March 31 Flex Day. Ideas: accreditation trivia contest, croquet tournament. Ask Neil Glines to help with planning. Topics Groups Topics Groups will review the Self-Study in its entirety and will ensure that the key themes are well represented in the appropriate segments of the Study.
